offerings

This site is being created to reflect Musart Enterprises Hawaii. On the pages of this section of the site are a few offerings from us, which reflect our interests and activities. For the purpose of navigation, this part of the site is divided into different categories, such as nature and culture, even though, similar to the ancient Hawaiians, in the mind of Musart, nature, culture, and music are closely interwoven, and not so easily separated into categories where one would exclude the other.

Inspiration from the nature of Maui, the Hawaiian spirit of Aloha, and various world cultures led to the conception of Musart and continues to be a major impetus of its growth. These offerings are our way of expressing our gratitude and appreciation to these sources of inspiration.

At first glance, some of these pages or parts of the site may seem unrelated. However, there is harmony in the diversity. Every page written, every theme and idea expressed, and every current moving here are in some way, however subtle, connected and interwoven: part of a tapestry. Recognizing this underlying connection will aid in understanding Musart Enterprises and our products and services.

In music, one similarly finds diverse currents of inspiration connecting in "Ulupala Blue", music by Quantum. In culture, in the traditional arts of Japan, there also exists this diversity interconnected, where separate leaves on a tree gain nourishment through the same root system. Historically in Japan, a great samurai might also practice the delicate art of flower arrangement or take up painting or the art of tea. Besides being satisfying in itself as a source of diversion or relaxation, the practice of these other arts would also serve to improve one's swordsmanship. How can this be so? To the inexperienced eye, the art of sword and flower may seem to have little in common, but at their core, in the Japanese system, like different spokes on a wheel radiating out of the same center, they have similar principles, attitude, and discipline in common.

As this site is an alive and evolving entity, we invite you to keep an eye on its changes and growth.

In joy!
